Why an independent audit

When you ask a developer where AI could help your business, you get a developer answer: things they can build for you. When you ask a software vendor, you get a vendor answer: reasons to buy their product. Neither is looking at your organization as a whole, and neither is accountable for whether the integration was the one you actually needed.

The Pono AI Audit is a standalone product with no implementation agenda attached. We study how your organization currently operates, where the real work happens, what could be automated, and where AI would genuinely create efficiency. What you receive is a roadmap that belongs to you.

It is also an audit of your own operation

Part of this work is establishing what your workflows actually are, because most organizations have never audited themselves and do not know. Not in detail, and not written down anywhere another person could read.

So before the question of where AI fits, there is a plainer one: what are the people here spending their time on? That answer is worth having on its own. Organizations regularly find the week is going somewhere nobody would have chosen, and that finding holds whether or not a single thing gets automated afterward.

What the roadmap does

It makes you an informed buyer. Every proposal that crosses your desk afterward gets measured against an assessment that was done for your benefit rather than the seller’s.

What we look at

Your operations as they actually run today. The systems your team already uses. The tasks that consume staff time without requiring staff judgment. The places where AI fits, and just as importantly, the places where it does not.

How long it takes

It depends on how many people you have and how far down you want to go. Ten to twenty people is usually a couple of weeks. Fifty takes longer. The honest range is one or two weeks at the short end and five or six at the long end.

Headcount drives it because the mapping is per person. We group people into sessions where the work is shared, and we do that wherever it fits, but individuals still have to walk through their own week, and that part takes the time it takes. It is also the part that produces the finding.
